In fact, let me take this a step further. There is one mount design offered by TomTom that seems extremely clever, though in reality, it proves to be quite frustrating: the ring-type mount. This is a simple concept, whereby a circular ring snaps onto the back of the device. A second ring with a suction cup attaches at a small hinge point. The result is an adjustable mount that folds flat, leaving the device to be travel friendly and even pocketable (depending on the pocket and screen size) with the mount still attached.However, these mounts have a tendency to pop off the device and even the windshield, as I was reminded this past week with a relatively new TomTom. In the course of rotating through our latest test devices to gain real-world experience, I used a TomTom Start 45 TM. The mount simply would not stay attached to the windshield, popping off periodically while driving—a real distraction. That evening I had a passenger join me for a short road trip. Coincidentally, he is a TomTom owner, and he tried in vain to mount the device, but it repeatedly fell off the windshield or the mount popped off the device. Fortunately, he could hold it and guide me with his voice. Regardless of how good the device might be, I could not use it.

I have replaced the fuses because they keep getting blown. I have changed a fuse of the radio under the glove box to a 10amp instead of the 7.5 it had because the new head unit has a 10 amp in the back of it. I really dont know what else to do. Help me.

What Im basically wondering about is, is it possible to still display something on this small screen? Or does it require the main player to do so? As for now, Im unable to see my air condition settings at all, I just turn up or down depending on if its too hot or not.. Kinda blindly.Im a little affraid of opening the stuff and reconnecting anything back there before I fully know what to do. Can something bad happen if I connect anything wrong?

We use a 6 meters power cable to connect the back of model 8788/8786 with the amplifier plug in the trunk.
The amplifier of E53-X5 is under the spare tyre.
The amplifier and FM in other models can be find under the left side tyre.

MOST network(It is used for transmit Audio and Control signals):connect 6 disk CD box in the trunk,telephone system,linguatronic(VCS)or BOSE power amplifier(In European standard car this function is not available).
(3). Installation Method:
1) CAN BUS agreement control box,make the wheeling control possible. At present the 6 disk CD box,Mobile Telephone,MOST Network can not be available in the original car.
2) Offer FM antenna head for the original car
3) Offer main engine plug for the original car
This car have European standard and American standard model
Offer B1 power cable(short) for European standard car.
As the American standard car have the external amplifier, so we offer B5 power cable(6 meter long) for it to connect the amplifier plug in the trunk.
Our standard configurations are B1 and B4 power cable.
If it American standard car, we need send them with B5 power cable(6 meter long).
